Artist Statement

Zoe A. Hodges is a Texas native currently earning her BFA in Ballet at Texas Christian University. While at TCU, she has performed works by Mark Morris, Gabrielle Lamb, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Sidra Bell. She recently attended the Carmel Dance Festival as one of 20 dance fellows. She is currently a part of Bruce Wood Dance Dallas' ROOTS pre-professional program. While in high school, Hodges performed nationally and locally at Bass Hall. She has been featured on NBC 5-Dallas/ Fort Worth and WFAA in a production of Firebird in collaboration with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. She is currently creating an Expressive Movement initiative to teach children with cognitive and physical disabilities dance. Hodges aspires to perform professionally, choreograph, and spread the joy of dance through teaching.
